Malayalam movie Superstar Mohanlal bags Chithira Thirunal award

Mohanlal is a malayalam actor and considered to be the most flexible actor of the country. Now there is another feather added to Mohanlal's Crown- 2009 Sree Chithira Tirunal Award. Mohanlal bags this Sree Chithira Tirunal Award in honour for the exceptional contributions in cinema.

Sree Chithira Thirunal Award was introduced in 2006 and the earlier award winners are agricultural scientist M S Swaminathan, ISRO chairman G Madhavan Nair and National Security advisor M K Narayanan. Now our Superstar Lt.Colonel Mohanlal was added to the list. Sree Chithira Tirunal Award carries a cash bag of Rs One Lakh and a citation.

Mohanlal was earlier honoured by Kerala State for his Lt.Colonel Position in The Territorial Army and completing 31 years in Malayalam Movie during the State's Onam Celebrations. At the same time Mohanlal is more prouder with the good reviews and collections got by his new tamil Movie UnnaiPol Oruvan.
