Mammootty's ‘Pazhassi Raja’ asks raise in ticket price

Pazhassi Raja is the upcoming movie of Superstar mammootty which was earlier scheduled for October 2nd and then postponded to October 16th. The movie was postponded by the director for the additional DI works and the case registered by the producer in the court asking 50% raise in ticket price for the first 2 weeks.

Producer says that the movie Pazhassi Raja was made on a budget of about 25 crores and there was around 2000 peoples worked hard for 2 years to finish the movie. So producer wants to compensate the budget with the increased ticked charge and to get more share in the first two weeks. A practice which has been followed for such movies earlier, the Govt. will now have to grant a special order to recover the budget through the hiked tickets.
